ARUBA

Divi-divi Tree, ArubaThe southern Caribbean island of Aruba is a 21-mile long jewel just north of Venezuela and is a year-round paradise with average temperatures flirting with a balmy 82 degrees, and refreshing trade winds keeping it cool. Aruba offers something for everyone, from breathtaking natural wonders to designer shopping and nightlife, glittering casinos, and great golf.

Combine intimate indulgences with island excitement for a perfect Caribbean honeymoon or wedding!

On a honeymoon in Aruba, couples can charter a catamaran, rent a villa with unlimited golf, or enjoy a night aboard a private yacht.  Storybook fantasies come to life with private candlelight dinners and moonlight strolls, picnics for two, horseback rides through the countryside, excursions to lush private island or just relaxing together on glittering white beaches under swaying palms. You can have it all from one fabulous Caribbean destination.

ONE COOL HONEYMOON

Enjoy your ‘One Cool Honeymoon’! This program greets newlyweds with “red carpet” and makes their trip an unforgettable one.  Aruba is one of the few places on earth where couples can really feel the world is just for them. The “One Cool Honeymoon” is available throughout the year at select hotels.

The hotels offer special packages for honeymooners, which may include luxury accommodation, beachfront Jacuzzi, a bottle of champagne, limousine transfers, couples massage, sauna and steam rooms, fresh flowers, snorkel cruises or a sunset sailing trip, candlelight dinner, and much more.

Couples receive a bottle of champagne in their room upon arrival, a souvenir gift from the resort and a free night at their return anniversary visit. You just need to identify yourselves as newlyweds at the time of reservation at the participating resort in order to receive the above mentioned features. Check with your travel specialist for participating resorts.

FUN FACT: Aruba’s divi-divi trees, also known as watapanas, are famous because they are known to grow at a 45-degree angles in certain parts of the island. This is a result of the persistent trade winds in those areas
